Andrew Gould custom-designed and crafted our choros and installed it shortly before our church building was consecrated. The words beautifully shaped and cut into the steel are from the Matins service of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, our parish feast:
EXAPOSTILARION OF THE EXALTATION OF THE PRECIOUS AND LIFE-GIVING CROSS
The Cross is the Guardian of the Universe
The Cross is the Beauty of the Church
The Cross is the Strength of Kings
The Cross is the Support of the Faithful.
The Cross is the Glory of Angels
And the Wounder of Demons.
