Holy Week & Pascha - 2026

On Saturday night, April 11th, at 11:30 pm we will celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, ending with a feast in the early hours of Sunday morning!

In an email last week, Father Christopher wrote:

I want to encourage you all to come and participate in our Holy Week services.  This coming week is the pinnacle of our Orthodox worship, where we walk through the final week with Christ, commemorating his betrayal, arrest, scourging, crucifixion, death, and resurrection. For Orthodox Christians, we plan our lives and schedules around participating in these life-giving services.  I have attached the schedule for Holy Week [on our home page], as well as a great liturgical explanation of the services next week. I encourage you to participate as much as you can, paying close attention to Thursday and Friday night, as well as, of course, Pascha itself (Saturday night). Pascha is a midnight Liturgy followed by a huge feast.

Also a word about our Pascha feast. As is our custom, we will bless Pascha baskets at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy on Pascha and at Agape Vespers. Please remember that our Pascha baskets are meant to be shared with others. We are a church family, and we must ensure that no one is forgotten as we celebrate our Paschal Feast together. Please also bring a dish to share, as we do during our regular coffee hour.

Come and see the most profound, sublime, and beautiful series of services that one can experience in the Christian tradition!
