October 2, 2025
October has been designated as National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. Many parishes across the country have started holding annual memorial services for those who have lost infants in the womb or have had stillborn children. This is a meaningful way to offer up one's grief to the Lord and memorialize these dear children.
On Tuesday, October 21st 7 at 7PM, we will be serving the Molieben (supplication service) for Those Who Grieve at the Loss of an Infant.
For those of you who may have never named these children, I encourage you to consider giving them names since we believe they are indeed children known to God. This may also help those who have had an abortion in the past remember and mourn their loss.
If you would like to have your child remembered by name in the service, please send their name to frc@holycrossoca.org
